Signs and Symptoms of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis)
DVT is a blood clot that forms in a major vein of your body, most commonly in your legs. It can also occur in your arms.
Swelling in the affected leg or arm, which can include swelling in the foot or ankle. It is most typically in one leg or arm.
Pain and tenderness in your leg or arm. You may experience pain in your calf that feels like a cramp or charley horse. It may also feel like muscle soreness or joint pain.
Skin Discoloration: redness is most common, but skin may also be blue or purple in color.
The affected area of the leg or arm is warm to the touch
In many cases, there are no noticeable symptoms.
